Several months back Michael Lee (myspace.com/michaelleeacoustic) and I discussed recording some music in his apartment. So he stuck some microphones in my vicinity and we came up with 12 tracks of songs I’ve been keeping to myself for a while. Michael Lee, Dan Masquelier, and Mark Robertson all helped with the instrumentation and production. On Friday November 6th, the self-titled album will be available at our Cafe Coda show and online. I am lucky enough to be in Chico for a week. I’ve had strong coffee from Empire, swam at Upper Park, and have had a delightful feeling of insatiable boredom that I treat as a welcoming luxury. I will be playing at Cafe Coda this Saturday, August 15th at 8 pm with Michael Lee (www.myspace.com/michaelleeacoustic) and Ash Reiter from San Francisco (http://www.myspace.com/drunkenboat).
